have you ever been to a place that gives you all the warm with the fuzzies?
i have. that place for me is sweetart bakeshop café. i remember the first time i went into the shop. it was almost 16 years ago, music was playing, art was displayed on the walls and the friendliest faces were at the counter.
the experience felt like home: good music, the feeling of family and connection.
in my most recent conversation, i spoke with reine keis, who is the owner, chef, and baker at sweetart bakeshop café.

reine has managed to be in the restaurant business for almost 17 years, something that doesn’t come easy, although she makes it look easy. sweetart isn’t just any café/restaurant, it is plant based and where any and everyone comes to connect and eat good food.
